Gas Safety

Keeping your home gas safe.

ETM offer a number of gas safety options through the domestic sector, to ensure your home is as safe as possible.

Fault finding

We rely on our gas boilers, cookers and fires to keep warm, have hot baths and showers and cook hot meals. It’s important that gas appliances are regularly serviced to help keep us safe and prevent them from breaking down when we need them the most. If you are experiencing fluctuations in your normal usage, it may be time to contact a qualified engineer, such as ETM, to conduct fault finding, to find, then repair or replace the faulty part.

ETM are experts, and know what to look for when it comes to faulty boilers. We'll also explain any work we need to carry out in plain English, so you know exactly what we're doing. As with all of our other services, you can expect a reliable, efficient service, for a reasonable price. We'll even provide you with a free estimate for our desired work, at our showroom in Cannock.

Landlords Gas Safety Inspections

Landlords are responsible for the safety of their tenants, and gas safety is part of this, as outlined in the Gas Safety Regulations 1998. This covers that gas appliances, fittings and flues within the tenant’s property are safe.

Landlords should legally have a gas inspection performed every twelve months to ensure the safety of all the appliances within the property.

ETM can take care of this for you, and ensure all of your properties are compliant with gas safety regulations. All work is carried out by our accredited gas engineers, and we try to keep disruption to a minimum so neither you or your tenants have to worry.

Are you worried about gas safety? Or are you a landlord requiring a gas inspection? Speak to one of our friendly team at our Cannock offices about your requirements and see how we can help.
